I guess this week's judging will have to be about weighing up whether it's more important to you that they sticked to the template or that they went full pelt with their imagination after using it as simply a piece of inspiration.
Alot of great entries so far.

Adarias (Level 7 Colonel) at 2/15/2008 11:10:45 AM
it's going to be so hard to judge because what i think are the best entries have strayed much farther from the template than others.

TheManuz (Level 3 Stalker) at 2/14/2008 8:16:46 AM
Nice challenge!

chess (Level 7 General Manager) at 2/14/2008 4:43:40 AM

if windows-user need a free full gif maker (no demos etc) try agifed (animation works fine as long as you dont use transparancy. Static gifs can be transp.

Finally again an original and cool challenge Wanna join this one, I haven't done a challenge in quite a while.

skamocore (Level 9 Necrophiliac) at 2/11/2008 11:02:36 PM
All of them!

you can enter as many times as you want....and you still have a whole week

Although personally, I like the first one best...so if you were only to go with one I'd pick that

skeddles (Level 11 Psychopath) at 2/11/2008 4:42:46 PM
Fixed size? How you gonna play a brutha like that!!

lol, always wanted to say that.
But really, cmon. We should be able to make it bigger.
never mind no one cares

Oh, and does it have to be red and orange? Or can I change it to whatever I want?

Sorry Jal, I know you were hoping for a tard-proof challenge.

tomic (Level 10 Lieutenant General) at 2/11/2008 1:06:42 PM

great challenge gas, though: are these ancient 'according to the book'-steps just a recommendation or a die hard must?

read: i'd like to skip the lineart-phase, just start detailing and let the things slide =)

* reserving the three-bulls-in-a-forest-interpreation for me

Kurisutin (Level 1 Private) at 2/11/2008 11:33:46 AM
reminds me of a pokemon >.> Are we allowed to add/subtract/ change shape of anything?

Gas 13 (Level 9 Federal Agent) at 2/11/2008 8:54:24 AM
Blame Canada :) Actually there was plan B for this challenge but the troublesome plan A was chosen.

Skull (Level 11 CEO) at 2/11/2008 8:43:21 AM
Darn you with your troublesome template; I have yet to think of anything!! D:

Gas 13 (Level 9 Federal Agent) at 2/11/2008 8:38:42 AM
Wow. It was submitted like half a year ago, I was not even expecting it to appear :)

My opinion for the questions below, YOU CAN!

spartan_117 (Level 4 Lieutenant) at 2/11/2008 7:58:44 AM
so we have to use the given drawing and not one from the twisted depths of our minds.
oh and can we rotate the canvas?

ThereIsNoCure (Level 11 Godfather) at 2/11/2008 7:55:58 AM
Grand idea. Kudos.

Zccc (Level 3 Hatchikyu) at 2/11/2008 6:44:18 AM
Can we make transitions and something like that, from frame to frame?

LegacyCrono (Level 1 Rookie) at 2/11/2008 6:43:41 AM

Hmmm... That's a tough one, but maybe I'll try it.

Can we add new parts to the template (I mean, the final art), like a horn or an (extra) arm?

skamocore (Level 9 Necrophiliac) at 2/11/2008 5:17:20 AM
Best. Challenge. Ever.

DJD (Level 4 Button Man) at 2/11/2008 5:03:50 AM
haha, I saw the first frame and I could have sworn those were neorice's colors. Then I looked downwards. :F

Skull (Level 11 CEO) at 2/11/2008 4:54:19 AM
"When you see something in the template"
Ahaha - that's what's got me!!
