I'd say anything goes after the challenge is over, you could always link to the version that was submitted to the challenge if you felt like it.

 Excellent show!  It's a turnout like this that makes me all the more glad i don't join to win.  I never vote for myself, and found it quite easy to pick my 3 favorites.  Vierbit, you're going to run out of room in your trophy rack 

what's the ettiquet on post-contest edits?  I have a stat screen i want to add in once voting is closed, it wasn't quite ready for the deadline; is that kosher?

xD really thought i could compete against you in this challenge / have more favs than 1 with this piece... but anyway seems like a good time to erase all from my gallery :P and start all over with pixel art. see ya PJ users again in 2012 with new tricks.
