Mr.Fahrenheit (Level 6 Serial Killer) @ 7/5/2013 15:38

Its fake in that it had learned that series of strokes previously over a timeframe then practiced that one image and could reproduce it.

ParkerBabyDiaperCompany (Level 2 King Checker) @ 7/5/2013 14:13

Yes, it's fake.

moondrome (Level 7 Merfolk) @ 7/5/2013 11:07

check this " elephant art" video on youtube, do you think is a fake?? I knew elephants were amazing animals but....

Adarias (Level 11 Bonsai) @ 7/1/2013 22:50

PBDC : I guarantee it isn't obvious to everyone.  Go ahead and try.  If you happen to do a shitty job, the next time you try it you'll be better.  No way to learn without fucking up -- and it's good to do so amongst friends.

ParkerBabyDiaperCompany (Level 2 King Checker) @ 7/1/2013 20:26

It's quite obvious what this is, but I don't have the skillz to pixel at this size.

Friend (Level 3 Hatchikyu) @ 7/1/2013 18:27

JuninFC (Level 3 Hatchet Man) @ 7/1/2013 14:04

I can see a lot of black curves

Nevercreature (Level 9 Whale Shark) @ 7/1/2013 12:20

@Jinn. It would be fantastic.

Jinn (Level 11 Cthulhu (The Call of Cthulhu)) @ 7/1/2013 10:45

Will the elephant choose the winner? *-*

gogglecrab (Level 3 Enforcer) @ 7/1/2013 10:44

Here's another one as well!

torimisu (Level 4 Mercenary) @ 7/1/2013 10:18

This is perfect! I'll definitely see if I have the time to enter~ I went to Thailand back in March and we visited the Maesa Elephant Camp up near ChangMai.

DawnBringer (Level 10 Maniac) @ 7/1/2013 08:04

Oh, I love these! Hope to see many creative contributions this week. :)

jeremy (Level 11 Sphinx) @ 7/1/2013 06:07

You don't necessarily need to trace over the shapes (and you certainly don't have to keep every pixel the same as the base - it's just a thresholded version of the painting). You can just sketch something based on it, as long as it's clear that its inspiration was the painting. Think Pearl or Natalie.

aeveis (Level 5 Harbor Seal) @ 7/1/2013 02:50

Pixel what we see, so the original silhouette can be edited, yes?

cirpons (Level 5 Soldier) @ 7/1/2013 02:50

You can modify it in any way, but you should keep it as close to the original as possible

ultimaodin (Level 3 Corporate Drone) @ 7/1/2013 02:00

I see a fatass mermaid with a rat climbing over her and a tonne of black birds.

JuninTKD (Level 1 Rookie) @ 7/1/2013 01:46

I can see a man sitting down :D, just a question. Can I add any more pixels at all? And can I cut the pieces that I'm not going to use or just leave it there?

Skykanden (Level 1 Seaman) @ 7/1/2013 00:20

Cirpons is right, this would be best being a blind challenge but still will be pretty interesting :)

cirpons (Level 5 Soldier) @ 7/1/2013 00:02

Im gonna try and not look at the challenge tread, because you cant unsee what others find.
