i thought i would be done with this sooner but i just kept adding and changing stuff. now i have all these good ideas i have to add in this... damn inspiration...guess what the lil guy in the middle is, a DS! i'm not too sure on what to do with the background. i was thinking of putting a bunch of tubes and monitors. inside the tubes would be a lil silhouette of other handhelds all jacked up, heh. some other idea would help, i'm not good at backgrounds.

 

haven't been able to draw much because i hurt my hands doing some stupid yard work for some guy. it wasn't all that bad though because i made 300 bucks and got myself a PSP! its so beautiful... pixel art looks amazing on the 480x272 pixel screen, so i just had to make my own BG for it. heres what i got so far. there is still 2 other characters i have to finish coloring and i have to put in a lil background in it. this is just something i have for my PSP right now.

Love the way you do the exagerated muscles and that white splat looks fantastic. You mentioned adding two characters so I won't crit the composition yet.

I didn't know you could change the bg of the PSP.  So the PSP is like a PDA eh?

sedgemonkey - thanks alot :D. yeah, with the 2.0 firmware you can change the wallpaper, and it has an internet browser! so beautiful...

Always a pleasure to your work and even better to see it as a WIP.  I think the backgorund should be a mix of tubes and wires and also a medi-lab of some sort. Put some eerie glow on it to give it that dark atmosphere and maybe some some life into the DS guy... sparks, etc.

absolutely awesome, as all of your works! For some inspirition I got:
-The DS-stylus, sticking in the left sind of the DS's Head, or stuck inside the (broken) Touch-screen
-The normal default color-backgrounds on all screens that should be from an PSP (like the invader Zim -style LCDs or the female's display )
-some more white on the female Charakter, like a sexy string ( or maybe even in that special White PSP color-sheme)
- as for the actual background light colors; I instantly thought of greenish colors, but then again, that would be the X-Box color -> bad Blue would probably resemble the playstation brand more... but then again, the piece seems slighly blue to me already, so that wouldn't add much contrast.
-I agree on the splat though, you should incorperate it somehow
