just some guy i whipped up after scribbling some lines together to form a really cool sillouhette. You can color the blob for yourself if you want. Here is the progress sheet:

reminds me of the big blue and red guys you made, are they the same?

Love seeing your process indigo (step 1 to step 2 is really interesting)... working from dark to light gives it a very nice feel.

Gah, I keep seeing all these great linearts and shapes to fill in posted here, but can never find the time to tackle em. Curses.

thanks alot. yeah, step 2 was basically just a template for me to base my basic form and lighting of the alien. Turned out okay i guess, but i think it could have been better.

Well, I think that just depends on what you're going for, I think. I love it the way it is right now - but maybe you think that it should be lighter because of that black background? I don't know... Great piece once again Indigo!

Hmm... Pectorial muscles. I'm trying to figure out what those are by looking at the changes you've made... To the google!

Heh, you're working quite similar to me. I do a shilouette and then start adding highlights too and I also like yellow highlights and purple shadows.

On my CRT at work the pic does look a bit dark, but at home on the ole LCD it looks perfect.

Aaaah finally something great to look at in the WIP forum. Love the colours and how you started off with a cool sillouhette. Awesome work, only expected from you anyway.

I agree that it's a bit dark to see everything but, it looks great nonetheless. Perhaps we could see him on some light backgrounds??

Aha! I knew it. And I have the same situation as Sedgy. When I viewed it at school on the normal PC monitors (non-LCD ) it looked quite dark but at home (on my LCD) it looks perfect.
