   Ok, so um, some of you may remember the side ship challenge a while back? Well, I kinda sorta promised jal I'd enter, and then I kinda sorta went insane and disappeared there, kinda sorta. XD

I figure I should finish this thing one of these days, if for no other reason than the fact that I hate making promises I can't keep. >_<

A quick google search reveals the ref pic...

I've gotten to the point where I've done everything I can and it still feels... empty and unfinished.

	you can find even a more detailed version. I love that style, but where are you going past this point? datailing it? AAing? Because of my own style, I would have made it more "real" giving depth to the ship. but it really depends on you. The base is a great starting point, but as you point out, there's the lack of... something: 1) background 2) details 3) AA 4) scene? take your choice. PS: I don't get why you keep disappearing... a problem with the media you're using to draw your pixels or simply laziness ? You're not required to answer, but we all would like to see more pixels from you, and less apologies. All the above is obviously IMHO, and sincerely said. Take care.

	Originally there wasn't going to be a background because the challenge called for a transparency. But since I'm not doing this for the challenge anymore, I'm not sure anymore, might add one. Well, that's just it, I'm not sure what to add here. Making it look just like the original is kind of boring. But if I add too much it looks nothing like the source. :/ There is a bit of laziness, but it's really more of a fear, and my own insecurities. I guess I never really got over my traumatic childhood. Gotta work on that. XD

	You could keep it unshaded like the orig, but do some super awesome ultrasmoove antialiasing! [EDIT] but I might make it a bit bigger if you're gonna go that route. Edited by Hatch - 27 June 2009 at 9:56am
