I need tiles that are 64 x 64 in size. I need 32 "base" terrain tiles for grass and shoreline. I need 40 "detail" tiles for trees, hills, mountains, roads, walls, and a few other elements. Layered tiles in .PSD format are desired (so I can transition where necessary.) The "style" I am going for is similar to what you would find in Blizzard's RTS games such as Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 1 or 2. You can see screen-shots of the war game at: http://www.war3100.com/media.html I could use someone to make the terrain look "better". If everything turns out well, more work will definitely be coming as I have four other projects lined up. I may even be interested in revenue sharing on some projects if I can get an artist who is willing to put as much work into projects as I do. The work for these tiles on this project is flat out payment. You will need a PayPal account as I will not do Money Orders (cost too much to send.) Please contact me if interested. Thanks! |

I hope when you say the price is negotiable, you mean -really- negotiable.
You're asking for 72(64px by 64px) tiles for around $250? That's less than $3.50 per tile. Each tile would probably take one, or two and more hours to complete. |

64x64 tiles could be done a little faster than that, but even at two tiles an hour they're offering less than minimum wage, here. Considering they're looking for Blizzard-level work, I'd expect something closer to Blizzard-level pay.

You may have misunderstood my post or it was not clear enough.
Negotiable means negotiable depending on how much work can be done and at what quality. I am not interested in anyone that can do less than the minimum amount of work listed $ wise is why there is a minimum listed there. If you can do the entire set for a certain amount then I need to know what that is and we can work out the appropriate price. |
