bullet Topic: FF6 style sprite

Here is a guy i frankensprited from 2 other FF6 sprites
i havent had time to make the small one 16 bit yet. I also have other "poses" but i thought these were the most important.
any suggestions would be helpful

i cant believe i actually was about to miss this one its very good especially for such a small sprite... wow thats excellent you should put that in the gallery

Well...none of it is yours. You used the term "Franken sprited", correct? That would be taking parts of characters already pixelled and adding it to something else you didn't do.

Don't worry about it chubs, blink is always very direct when it comes to his thoughts on any matter.

I like the sprite and I think it's a good basis for learning the FF style of spriting.

why?

Because none of this is his work, he has meerly taken two existing game sprites and cut then in half and then mashed then together, anyone could do this in 30 seconds.

You can't learn anything from copying and pasting parts of pixel art together. This doesn't help you get your own style, and really isn't welcome here. We'd love to see pixels from scratch of yours, however.

And don't post sprites like these in the gallery.

and no i did not merely copy and paste things together, some of it is my work too

ALSO this IS a WIP and who says that im not gunna go and make another body? who says that this isnt just a temporary body that im using for now?

everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I just figure that one would have more PRIDE in their work if they did it from scratch. That's not to say you can't emulate* another's work. Originality, of course, is always appreciated as long you put the time and effort into it and it shows

 

*look it up in the dictionary if you don't know what it means

I don't think Monkey_Man realized this isn't yours. And it's stil lnot all yours if you keep the head, and make all of the body. And what's the point of frankenspriting just to rip it apart and start all over? I doubt you were going to. Your "controversy" is flawed and no thought was put into it.
