Hey fellas',

Kramlack (producer/artist), Sam (programmer) and I (artist) are currently developing a shmup game and need suggestions to improve the ships from ya'll. Any form of help is appreciated.

I have a complete sheet, however we would like to nail three at a time.

Thanks! =)

They look very good tho the red BG makes for harder appreciation. My only nitpick is that every ship is entirely angular and unless the game's design is to be angular then some more round/organic bits would look nice.

Thank you for the reply, Jalonso. Actually, Kramlack had mentioned to keep it sharp/angled. However, the old version of these ships were infact rounded.

Anyways, I decided to transparent them from now. Thanks for the suggestion. =)

and I made a few edits to this fella'

I like the boxiness of the sprites. It's the "look". Are you going to do damaged sprites, or do they blow up directly?
Anyway, I have no crits but I'm looking forward to it!

I totally understand and even thought it was deliberate since you are a top-notch pixel pusher and wouldn't naturally just make angles alone.
Maybe when you get into the GUI and missile/explosions/etc. all will work :)

Pulp London: Thank you, much appreciated! I'm unsure about animations/alterations at the moment.

Jalonso: Thanks! Much appreciated.

a few edits I did to the second ship. I was asked to remove a few things and clean up a few spots... ect.

I started to work on the third one while my buddy does some stuff with the first ship, also. I'll see if I can put them up tomorrow!

Edit - Here is the third ship edited. I basically cleaned it up and fixed some errors.
