Well you could have started out by trying the animation yourself, I think it would help you out quite a bit. But from what I see, there are about 6 pieces that are flying out. What you should do, is have them fly from the center of it. Everything needs to move away from the center, because that's where it's getting pushed away from. But one question, what is that? Is it just a box? Depending on the object, will also have an effect on how it behaves. Will the pieces just disappear? Will they keep going, will they burn up?
So what I suggest, is take that info, and try your hand at it, that way your getting better, your not just taking other peoples work.
