Just started a few days ago. Been trying to work on my shading since I know it's lacking. But I can't start out as a pro =p. Any CC is appreciated.
I did this about 10 minutes ago. Tried to do some dithering. ![]() Worked on this yesterday. It's my cellphone, was trying to work on some shading, got sloppy on the screen. ![]() ![]() |

Get real apple. Look. Draw.
Try to reduce amount of colors you use for shading - that way it may be even more prominent. Two reds would be enough, and one more color for highlight (white, for example). Try to see the line where shaded part parts with not that exposed to the light - like Moon or earth. Try to see which spot shines most bright for a highlight. |
