Hey I need comment and suggestions on early character wip.

Only the colors on the palett (top left) are used right now the others are just to fill out the space, right now I'm having trouble with the torso and the details.
Hope I can get some good suggestions.
Ps.He isn't suposed to looks like Altair.

You've done a nice job and has lots of potential. The bad things beyond some anatomical proportions is that maybe you have far too many colors. The cape and skirt take up too much room and take away from the sprite having a more warrior type look. The feet and leg width are almost the same size as the head so he looks like a pinhead. It may help you if you make the guy naked so the proportions are set and corrected first then dress him. I would also suggest that you begin with the face so you can insure that you can get enough detail to have some facial features before AAing like you have.

OT: What kind of Viking is a Pang o.O

Than you :D.

Well I forgot to post the 4th edit where I fixed the foot, and well I used so many colors beacause I wanted to give the impression of increadible detail. But I failed :D.

Right now I'm totaly remaking the whole thing beacause I felt like I didn't have enoth space or room for futher development. And thanks for naked tips but I don't really have a clear idea how anatomy of a man should look like.
Like size wise I know where stuff should be but I have no idea how long the head is compared to the body etc.And Im strugling with the facial features and the head lol. And I think that the arm is a litle to small.

OT: Pang isnt a viking name its an anamatipoeticon for an explosion like "Boom!" i got the name from my friends when I was playing minecraft.
And I think it's rather comical or ironical that you who comented. You see I was studing your art For the coaple of days now, and I always wanted to ask you How you did those wonderfull medici tiles in the garden and the city.

@ Pangking, There are sites that are just about anatomy and can help out.

This is a good one HERE, just find the pose you like.

I can tell you were trying to "give the impression of increadible detail". You only failed because your sprite wasn't ready for that step yet. Try to work out the proportions and the main things first and leave the incredible for the end ;)

To answer how I did Medici is simple...I got the proportions down first then added the incredible details

Thanks for your tips Jalonoso.I think I'm getting ready for the details.
The anatomy looks right to me and the head is in proportion to the rest of the boy, it's ca 6.5 Heads to 1 body.
And I Need some heavy crits on this one.

Edit:
I fixed the color count too! Its 11 colors + transperacy!

Added more colors and added some details.

Im finished!!!

We already add this to your gallery. Are you working on the same piece or making something new?
Once pieces are added to the gallery having an active WIP thread for the piece makes no sense. Why c+c something completed, ya noes.
