Pixel Joint Forum: Tap with a Drop of water

   This is my first EVER piece of pixel art I have made, it took me around 30-40 mins to do, and I am honestly quite proud of it. I also know it is not the best pixel art ever made, so I need some feedback on:

1. How to improve this image.

2. How to improve in general.

	It's not bad, especially for a first try. One suggestion I have is to be careful with the light source. Depending on where you look on your image the light could be coming from the left, the top left, or the right. I think the light is also is little harsh. Here's a quick edit I made- I added one extra shade of grey to make a smoother blend between highlight and shadow. I also thought the smoothness of the metal would be better represented without dithering.

	Wow, just wow. Your edit is way better than I could do. I always have trouble with light sources. Anyway, thanks for the tips. I may try and edit mine myself tommorow just for fun, but for now I need sleep, goodnight.
