Tried to animate a semi-chibi running:

Tried to make it something like this:

Any suggestions how to make it smoother or what should i change?

There's so many people doing straight through animation these days.
With some things that are 'unpredictable', such as fire and water, this
is excusable.. however with something you know what is going to happen
such as a run cycle - you really should be working with keyframes.

If you don't know what keyframes are I suggest you look up tutorials on
animation and come back before you do anymore 'guess' animating. :-)
Good luck!

Definitely. Though it looks a bit more like a fast trot than a run. For more of a run, tilt the upper body forward so they're leaning into the run, and then change the arms to more of a heavy, pumping back and forth motion. Right now the arms especially look relaxed.

But its a looooot better than the first post, which looks more like a funky jig xD

Another update. Looks pretty smooth in my opinion, but i think i have to give it a better shading. Tried to make a prisoner/mental hospital escapee. Oh, and about the fast trot; i will make two runs, a slow run (this one) and a faster run, which is executed by pressing the left/right arrow twice.

This is the Fast run Beta. I have to add arm movement.
