I think this is the biggest pixel piece I have ever tried to make. I think this was supposed to be for a desktop background. Anyways I need a lot of critique mostly on the anatomy of the face since this is the only thing that even remotely finished. Ignore the colors right now they are funky :). I also want advice on how i should do gradual transitions of color, dithering or just ad a lot of colors. If any of you demoscene guys have any tips or techniques I could use it would be helpful :)
Any ways take a look at my early wip:

(I'm thinking about really finishing this one!)

1-Hair.Try a hair texture:http://www.pixelaria.org/artigos/1014-criando-cabelos-simples

2-Face.For me, it's cool.Add an Eyebrow. And try to not let the character squint.ha!

3-Clothes.Termine o sketch.

worse. the face looks more emotionless (the slightly raised brows and open mouth of the former gave the face an anxious tension), the mouth/chin area got a bit more wonky, and the flat fields of color were more pleasing than the fields of dither.

upper lip should protrude a tad farther than the lower lip, right now it looks the other way around. preferred the previous colors, before the highlights became so muted. chin is too short, and the mouth looks like it may be protruding more than the nose (so, move nose to the left)

The large fields of dither on the face aren't working out. I don't understand the need for such a huge scale, but that's on you I guess.

your first try looked much nicer. The face was more dynamic and the nose wasn't that strange.
You need also more contrast and your colors are looking at the moment zombie-like (I guess it's because the soft green in your ramp doesn't really work together with the background blue.

It also seems that you don't have any clue of the planes and the general monumental form of the head.
At the moment it looks somewhat like: eye + eye + nose + mouth + hair  = face.

Use a reference, study the forms and try to fix your forms and shadows. Also don't start dithering at those early stages. Fix your colors too. Go back to your first attempt and work on from there - it's qualitative much better. If you have worked already with a reference study it more carefully.

Thanks for the critique.
Yes, you are right, I don't know the anatomy of the human face. I'll give it another try, but this time I'll be sure to use A LOT of reference!
