Don't bump your threads, especially if it's only been an hour or two. Standard forum courtesy.
Before others help you, help yourself by using references. Google has tons of pictures of trees that you should be using to understand tree anatomy. There are also tons of tree threads already out there. Just do a search at pixelation for "tree" and you get tons of useful results. Draw the ground, the entire trunk. If you want to crop the tree later then do that, but draw the entire tree at first. Start with the trunk, then figure out where you want the branches. The placement of the branches will decide the placement of the foliage, which will exist as irregular clumps of mass. Right now what you've got looks like cotton candy.
