Pixel Joint Forum: A Set Of Animated Fantasy Characters

   Hey, so this is a collection of animations based on a static sprite sheet by a redditor.

I'm looking to turn it into a game but I don't know what style to do the backgrounds in, and I'm looking for a background sprite artist.

Anyway, I'd love some criticisms on all of the characters.

	I would first decide on the game in which you want to place them. Then the background theme will come to you. Deciding on the background first would be doing it backwards. I personally see this as a rag-tag team of fighters, each with their own fighting style. With that, you could make the backgrounds the different places from which each of these characters hail, which should be easy enough.

I could use complementary colors for each character so they really stand out on their own background.

	the sprites are nice. but they seem to have little contrast and saturation. they could fit nicely in a horror-fantasy-themed platformer. well, if you have so much time in your hands, try to study on how to pixel BG pieces.
