.jpgs screw up your art. they blur and add about 16,000 colors if you edit them.

The actual saber could use to have a thicker handle in the middle, and more contrast.

There's no real thought out shading on it. It's gradiented.

You may want to take a look at a reference pic to give you an idea of what a lightsaber should look like.  Unless you want this one to have your own special style.  In which case we cant critique it really, since most inconsistencies we point out would be intentional and not something youd want to change.

Good job on the glow effect though.
