I am a programmer currently making a 2D RPG game for iOS/Android and probably OS X.

I'm not exactly looking for someone to do the art for the entire game, this is not a job offering, and I wouldn't expect someone to do that much work. I have already done (with the help of an artist friend), a good amount of the art, and I'm just throwing it out there, if anyone would like to contribute, it would greatly be appreciated. It can even be a single contribution, something as simple as a road, or a bench.

The game I am making is an old school 2D RPG, but with a twist... It is going to be based on real street gangs, will be very dark in nature, and instead of using cartoony pixel art and having a (repetitive) tile based map, the environment in the game is going to be more detailed and reality based.

The reason I am posting here is because a lot of the pixel art I have seen you guys do is phenomenal. Also, I don't have a timeline for this game, I just want to make the best game possible, so I will keep crunching away at it until it meets my vision.

I'm not sure if that's the best description of what I'm trying to accomplish with the game, so I will be posting art and actual in game pictures very soon.

This is what I have so far. If anyone wants to help I'd be very grateful.

I'm also open to any criticism, suggestions, especially as this is my first stab at doing any type of art so I don't really know what I'm doing.

I didn't know much about working with pallets prior to starting this project, so I'm hoping there is some way to run all my art through a filter or something that will reduce the palette size, or recolor using a custom pallet. I'm guessing that would make everything look a bit more cohesive.
