I'm planning to animate this one, but my motivation has already been drained

I don't know if I am still fixing things, or actually breaking it now.
Every time I open GG to start working on running, jumping, shooting or anything new, I end up fixing details...

Edit suggestion here.

The shade to the cyan bits is actually more towards green than the bright cyan, which is an unusual choice, no? The shade is normally colder colours, I mean.
I picked a colder colour, which let me connect the different "ramps" a bit.

Feeling kind of stuck at the moment, this is probably going to be my final:

Nice :). You could make even more of him and stick his legs to the side of his hips ;)

@Cels
Ooh, thanks for the edit! I did not consider playing with more dramatic shadow yet, I should do that too!

EDIT:
Much to my surprise, I actually like the result!

So again, same question: Is it done or will I keep on coming back to it? :p
Also, on one of my monitors it looks a bit over saturated, on the other it looks under saturated... :(

Ooh, even before I managed to update this post I already came back to some details and reuploaded... As many changes possible as there are pixels on the screen!

EDIT:
Still missing run cycle and a landing, but what do you guys think about this?

Also: I missed pixels a bit! I have vacation this week, hence a bit of free time to puzzle with pixels :D. I got rusty, this is what I would have entered only 2 days ago...

I'm enjoying this challenge. Here is my updated version (4X). I changed the palette and animation. I would like to improve it a bit more.

the bad news is that the specs tool is saying these gifs have 100% transparency as ONLY color. HALP! Anybody know how to fix this?

I loved the video, you should do more with additional animations. I like the new final stance, but I think I liked the bolder and simpler colors better.

I agree, very nice. Thanks.

I like the style a lot DB! But what is going on with his left arm, and does the left leg seem so far to the back?

Also, mine is finished I guess..

Here is my contribution. Feedback are welcome.
I felt like animating it because of action practice :D
Done in good o' Photoshop CS5

Click on it to see it in the gallery (and to use the zoom tool).

Very nice Pavanz!

It is funny how many people created a megaman suit on top of a normal person, while actually megaman is a humanoid robot!

Erk, just joined Pixel Joint and decided why not start with a challenge? An extremely time limited challenge considering I started twenty minutes ago. Gonna animate this big old Shield Man but can't decide between big helmet and small helmet. WIP shots:

Small Helmet

Big Helmet

Anyone want to make the decision for me?

The bigger helmet seems to fit the body better imo.

Yep now that I look at them side by side I think I agree with you. I thought it looked too bulky at first.

Thanks!

This was a lot harder than we could have ever imagined.
So many great entries under such limitations! Love em all!
