![]() I'm taking a new approach to my spaceship pixel arts. My shape designs of the ship are overall the same, but I'm starting to do different shading and texturing methods. (Most notably with shading the cylindrical parts of the ship and adding small panels on the ship's surface). I'm basing it off of this ship design: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/66941.htm If I can get the style down, I'll then try to merge my own style into my future ships. So you are practicing this style to get it down and then merge with your own? Or this will be your style?
Maybe you could post your old process so side-by-side comparison would be possible. |

My plan is to try and get it's shading and texturing style down, and then try to throw in my usual ship look...which is more colorful looking and less texture on parts of the ship (And different shading on cylindrical parts). I also added an example of one of my previous pixels so can kind of get an idea
