So here's how far I currently am with it. Something about the hand keeps bothering me but I dont know what. Also I think the rose sucks but Im not sure how to simplify it further without adding another color... 

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Gona update tomorrow when I wake up and draw some more.

	updated Im trying to see if I should light his coat more. A few edits here and there. still not sure about the hand.... or the flower.

	Well this is coming along nicely :D I like it! The rose looks very lovely, mmmmmyaybe it could stand to be a little bigger? I saw all the details when I zoomed in and was all like "OHHHH PRETTY :D" lol and I like the colors used for it a lot. I think it does look nice as is though! As for the hand, the way it looks at the angle it's add is a bit off. The way the thumb is, the fingers should be less visible. And the way the fingers are, the thumb should be less visible. If that makes sense, i don't even XD I did up two superquick rough examples just to show the gist of what I'm talking about, you'll have to either decide whether you want the thumb to stay at its angle or his fingers.

	Wow yes you're right about the angle! I'm gona try to make it like the left one. Also, thanks. I'm not sure about the height though. I was a bit concerned that anatomically the leg space might make him more bayoneta-esque. Only time will tell.

	I think this is turning out well. I have some comments: For the new folds you added, I think that they may be a bit long and straight, considering that his left hand is in his pocket. In which case the folds (now actually stress points) would tend to go fan out from the stress point created by the hand in the pocket. I also feel that his left forearm is looking smaller than his right forearm that is holding the rose.

	To be honest, I think your very first WIP looked the best. I think your pixelart should be a little darker - to look a bit shadier and more mysterious.

	I have no idea if im doing anything right but there it is. I tried to make the left hand seem better. Also tried to make the fabric like... well.... fabric. Ive got to learn somehow.

	I feel like the fabric right under the hand would be folding. As if its holding the weight of the arm. I don't know exactly though. Edited by devinaaron - 18 February 2015 at 1:10pm
