I wouldn't recommend aiming for perfect. My best work has never happened because of aiming for perfect. It's an impossible goal, so learn to love where you are before you try and climb that mountain. :)
Nice full-blue palette. As it's monochromatic, you have to be really really careful about tone to evoke a mood. Composition is utterly key. Thinking about objects or things is tricky, because it's inviting to have a list of stuff to have and work on each piece separately. But in something that's very technical, you have to think in terms of shapes of colour and how they relate to one another. For a canvas this size, dithering doesn't make a very good transition between tones (it reads as detail rather than blending), so be sparse with it or avoid it entirely. You have a handful of colours. Use them together to highlight the important elements of your scene (glowing tank, man silhouetted against it rather than completely lost in the background, for on possible example). As a fun challenge, could you try doing this with no outlines? ;) |

@SuperTurnip, thanks for such a comprehensive answer. By 'perfect' I meant appealing to a tempted PJer's eye :-)
Challenge accepted, stay tuned :-) |

You can and should revise all you need.
This is the best way to improve so don't ever be shy. Try to place each pixel a little bit slower and with more precision. You are still a little sloppy in your placement but have been improving so keep at it. |

I've returned with an other version of the pic. It's nearly finished.
Still I'm open for critique. |
