Pixel Joint Forum: Death girl

Message

Due to working on something completely out of my normal style, especially color wise, I'd like to get some C/C on this. Trying not to use purples/cooler tones because it's normally what I default to, although I might do recolors of this piece later on.

A bit worried that the color ramping might be a bit jarring? I'm going to continue with it since it's unfamiliar grounds and it looks pretty decent as it is. Pink palette needs some help I think though.

There's 12 colors, but photoshop is telling me there's 15, so I'll have to search for the duplicates later 

Feel free to c/c on anything else. I hope to get this completed by the weekend.

	I agree with your statement on the pink. Maybe build up your orange ramp and branch off from it? I really do like your use of the green on this.

	I love the way the oranges connect with the blues. Overall it looks pretty good. First thing I notice though is that the eye holes seem just a couple pixels too far apart.

	Fixed the face a little bit and I started to complete more areas. Decided to keep the pink going to the teal, although I do like the suggestion of building off of the orange ramp. Edited by wish04 - 16 August 2015 at 4:48pm

	Oh, this is nice. Can't say that I can find much to criticize, if anything I'd say that the one eye should be slightly cut off due to the angle of face. Also really liking the subtle background :)

	The colors seem very saturated and the hair orange seems like it clashes with the greens in the hair. The pinks work fine for me.

	I agree with dpixel on the green, you could swap it for more of a grey:
