Working on a game, just wanted some input before I finalize it.

Here is the main screen:

My main concern is with the background tiles. Do they feel 8-bit (NES) styled to you? I don't care about actual restrictions. I want them to not stand out too much, but add a little detail to make it look less bland.

Just want a few opinions.
