Pixel Joint Forum: WIP running cycle animation.

I'm pretty new with making animations and I felt like to start with a running animation first. I didn't wanted to color the sprite until all the animations are in place so I just used plain colors for body parts instead. I'm not worried about his shape too much yet, I need feedback on animation if possible. Thank you.

	For some reason it feels like he is pushed down to the floor! Maybe make the part wherehe is up longer? And even higher? The arms now go forward and backward at a single speed. Usually you push the arms forward so this goes fast, then they stay for a split second at the front, and then they slowly accelerate backwards again to restart the cycle. Check the spacing between each frame to ease in and out on the right spots! Heel should contact first if leg are stretched in front of character (and character is straight up), put that toe up especially in the final frame before the touch down. It's a very soft jog because of the minimal leg action, is that what you intended? The legs seem a tad short to me. Good luck!

	Thanks for feedback, its my first attempt to make a running cycle like this so I missed out alot of things. Also not exactly was intended to make a soft jogging but it still doesn't look too bad to me. I also need to study on anatomy just a bit more for proportions.

	For a fast run, increase the pace, lean more forward, knees lift higher to the front and legs stretch out further to the back!
