Hello everyone, I am working on a 40x40 sprite of my character to turn into a cross stitch. The sprite will be blown up to about 2 x 2 inches so it needs to look good enlarged. I am also limited in the colors I can use because I can only use what color thread I have available.

I would be very grateful for any tips, I am not very experienced in making pixel art so I could use all the help I can get!
