Hello everyone!

I'm coming out with a graphics project pretty soon for a popular text-based game. I'm planning on having the entire palette swap each season.

Since there are hundreds of sprites to map, I wanted to make sure the colors were good before I proceeded. Can anyone give me advice on my season palettes? I feel content with fall, but uneasy about summer and winter.

(spring, fall)
(winter, summer)

Thanks!!

This is looking really cool so far!

I personally think winter already looks pretty nice? I tried a different color variant though just to see.

As for summer, I think it's a lil' too close to spring. I tried making it a lil' bit more blue in tone   just to differentiate it from spring

I also tried an edit where I made spring a bit more yellow and summer just slightly blue. So the change in palette for summer isn't as drastic but still different enough from spring.

Hope it helps!

Thanks for your advice!I worked off your suggestion and tried to change summer and spring to be a bit different. I liked your idea of yellowing, so I applied it to summer so make it look a bit burnt out.

I think that helped set them apart a little more. Anything else to improve this? Here's an example of an in a building.

Yeah it looks nice being more yellow-y. I'd keep your original summer color though, I think it compliments the new spring a bit better. But hey overall it looks great!
