WIP for #38. Decided it was too big for the Birth of Venus and decided to continue the Japanese theme with some yokai (Umibouzu, Amabie, Kappa) and the snake became Quetzalcoatl!

@vrine: really amazing use of the palette for the rainbow effect. I'm taking notes!
@Paperfoe: love your tile and how you used the palette! That grass is wonderful! @Xmenekai: that came out so good! I'm glad I could help a little. I really like the cat too. Reminds me of all the cats in ISOrd & ISOrcery. @marceles: really awesome idea! That's gonna look so good. Hmmm, in hindsight maybe I should have made the snake in my tile into a Japanese dragon (Haku/Shenlong-style) instead to go with the theme. I might change it to that actually. |

Okay I revised this a bit and made the skulls bigger, they did not read well before and was much smaller than the skulls in Tipleloop's tile and reo's WIP, so it's probably better like this:

@Eggy: looking good! 23 is yours. @Mirre: Yes, nice dragon! I think it's about the right length for the hind legs to be hidden behind the hut/underwater?
@ZapWo: Nice, I like the stylized clouds. Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but you could try experimenting with a brighter lightning bolt to make it pop more, maybe even cast some light on the immediate surroundings? |

@Morganne: Great start, hope you feel better soon! have you decided what mythical subject you'll be sticking in there yet?
@Maye: I like the concept but as of right now the ravens are pretty hard to see. Try to rearrange the composition a bit so you have a more high-contrast background for them. If for example they sit at the north end of the stump they will be outlined against the grass and be much more visible, but there might be other solutions. @Korban: I'm no gecimen but how about I give you #73 anyway? |

@Maye: Lovely tile! I think the ravens are still a bit hard to read. Don't be afraid to just use the darkest colour for them it will make the red eyes pop better too! And maybe size their bodies up a pixel or two? Ravens are huge!
@Eggy: If you want some help with that waterfall just continue it to the edge of your tile and I'll continue it in mine! Idea suggestions: any famous mythical ships to use? Or put an island in the middle with something on? @Morganne: Wow I never heard of a penanggalan before! Very cool monster! WIP update. A couple of areas feel a bit empty, anyone have any suggestions of what to add? ![]() |

@Xmenekai: You must fill out at least the entire square, and then however much more above it you want to/need to use to make a nice border.
![]() If you're unsure how to make the border, check out a few earlier ISO collabs for inspiration. EDIT: Oh and remember that there will be nobody above you to continue the pyramid so the slope should continue until it reaches the right edge of the canvas. |
