So this is DEFINATELY a rough start. I'm not sure if I like the pallate and I'm thinking I'm going to dither, but I'm afraid it'll get super dithery around the right eye (your right). I'm excited about this one. I really want to do it right.

	It's a pretty extreme lightsouce in the photo, which can be great and dynamic and fun, but you're ignoring it in places (her hair) and using it in other places (her neck and shoulders) which is going to cause confusion and inconsistancies. And the arm we can see looks a bit thin, I think it's because in the reference pic the top part is bleached out, but it is still there!! So you might want to increase the area of the highlight up a few pixels to make it work.

	Thanks. :D Here's an update. I'm not sure about the skin pallate. >_< And I'm wondering if I over dithered on the chest. Thoughts? How's the hair? XD

	I like the skin colors, The chest does seem a bit over dithered but then again it may look flat if you remove it. I say leave it alone. The straps on the blouse are what needs some work, perhaps some of the grey on the frame or eye could be used to smoth the lines a little bit, not too much.

	The gray won't do anything, it's too close to the black. I'd use skintones to aa the strap a little. Although it could've been done better. But it's 7:40 and I'm going to be late for work. So is my boss, so it doesn't matter.

	eyes come halfway down the head, the head looks wrong becuase yours are too near the top.

	I didn't really know what to do about the eyes without redoing half of the face completely. I didn't think it looked too bad. I tried to fix the blouse and made other small changes. I upped the contrast in the pallate of the one on the right. I'm not sure which is better. I feel like the left one is too dull.

	Hmm skin tones shouldn't look so harsh, heres an edit i made using one more colour on the face but then i replaced a colour used to AA the highlight: Just an idea, looks real wicked anyway (esp. secondary light). i should probably do mine...

	So I took some of your advice Akira and I toned down the skin a bit and made random edits: I definately like this one better although I'm not sure if I like my name and quote. I might change that. I'd like some thoughts about the border also, if you don't mind. :P

	picture looks much smoother now. Nice work on the lips too. hmm, border is sorta boring. Is it meant to be like a rocky texture or what? Name looks nice, maybe lightly AA it into the white border? or else keep it jagged for style.

	Thanks. :D The border is supposed to be like an iron cage. Sort of like the cage around my Jackal pixel art. Not sure if I really caught that effect in this one. :P I could redo it.

	heh you must be getting sick of me replying by now :P the cool thing about the jackal cage is that the cage isn't any particular shape and has extra bits of metal coming off it and just feels really busted up. On this border its all sorta straight and perfect. not sure what you could do to fix it... if the rules allow maybe mangle it up some? But this is all nitpicky stuff so maybe you just wanna ignore it, submit, and move on. I know i can't stand working on the same piece for long
