you could use some dithering on the face, to shade the colors some more, and maybe use some selout on the edges of the face, or maybe some AA'ing

what do you mean with selout on the edges?
i'm kinda new at pixel art so i don't know al the names yet.
i agree about the aa and dithering.
I'l work it out tomorow if i have time.

I've never been a big fan of pixels traced overtop an image like this. It's fairly obvious and I think it'd say more about you and your skills if you just did an interpretation of the image rather than trace it

I agree with Pixelblink. It currently looks very boring cos theres barely any difference between your pixels and the photo. I'd like to see you think a little outside the square and test your skills on an original interpretation-or something less traced! I suppose the practice cant really hurt though.
