I keep making huge linearts and never finishing them. (Ico & Yorda, Tri-Edge [TWICE]...)

Well, here it is. xD; I'm pretty much asking for anatomy and proportion help. I seem to have problems with arms and legs very often, so... mm. Just wanna get some feedback to try and fix it as I try and complete the lineart.

Really sorry, i have no crits. The feet are big gloves/wolf claw things aren't they? So i don't think there's any issues there. It looks uber hot atm. If you finish this, i shall make fanart! Much fanart!

I think it looks good. The unique style of the hands make it a bit hard to crit really. The body seem a bit elongated though, but that might be personal taste... you also have a very anime/manga influenced style where that occurs all the time soo. Only thing might be that it seems as if she's putting all the weight on (her) right leg, and that doesn't really do a dynamic pose as for now. Try posing that leg as far from the body as her left leg? I really like the lineart of the upper body and face. Nice work!

While the hands are unique and quite cool, i definitlewy think they should be scaled down a bit. They just make your character look unbalanced (not stability wise, but composition/anatomically)

Yes, these sort of issues often come up due to my um, bad influence. xD; She's also pretty tall, so I always think "long" when I draw her. I also really only have my own body to work off of, and I am also long (and have the back problems to prove it.)

I thought it would come to this, but I'll give a little background on her to explain the unproportional were-wolf hands and feet. I'll try and keep it short. She was at one point feral and part of an experiment an alchemist was doing to create permanent werewolves. Through a great number of experiments, he was only able to successfully change her hands and feet permanently before she escaped with his assistant (Vrit.) SO, as bratty as this sounds, the unproportional aspects of her appearance are intentional. Her hands are as large as they would be if she was in a full werewolf form.

Thanks for the compliments and crits, and I shall work on her lege\ pose and de-elongating her body... Expect to perhaps see a start on Mr. Assistant next time, too. ;D

I understand the reason for having werewolf hands, but werewolves arent actually much bigger than humans, perhaps under a foot taller, and even thenthe hands would'nt be that big. Put yourself in the perspective of someone who doesnt know her background - to them it would just look odd. By all means keep the big hands and feet, but just not so big.

Realistically if her hands were that big her tiny arms wouldn't be able to lift them. Beefing up her upper arms would be better for large hands and stylistically would look better IMO.

Goddammit Feron, NOOOO!! At least i would prefer her as she is. It's fantasy and art, there's no incredible need to be physically exact i don't think.

Btw Stitchy, did you sketch this first on paper and then turn it into PA, or just go straight into it?

the big hands are good stylisticly, the feet look a bit dodgy but are obviously wip, and the leg on our right seems to be going in the wrong direction from the top? maybe its cause the bottem isnt finished yet so i cant realy say much yet

Er, wow. Um, alrighty then. xD;

@Larwick: This is straight pixel art... I never do traces. :B
@ Artisan: Yes, this is pretty rough, especially the hands since they are always a challenge. And you're probably right about the leg... I don't like legs. /gets to work again

Keep 'em coming, guys. :B

Uhhhhh... /was actually working on something less trying.

Because I... really like the illustration. A lot. I like being distracting. D| Then again, hardly anyone on this board has a signature that's very big or flashy. /removed.

It was a very cool illustration indeed, so much so your lineart was drowned out. Since this forum deals with art pieces and discussing them down to the pixel level, siggys such as that one are very distracting.

ps. This is not a rule as far as I know. Simply my opinion on one of the many reasons why this forum rules!

I love the big hands big feet style. It's really cool.

I DO hope you finish this. Even if it's just lineart, it would be nice!

The upper body is great, hands are big but thats part of the style so meh i dont care.

What really annoy me is the legs,  they are not perfectly exact, you are missing some muscles, shape looks a bit flat. Maybe its jus an illusion due to the ovely big feet.

neway.. good luck with the coloring of this hehe
