i've made this fox for my msn pic it's still a WIP, but i need some tips on how to put folds in his pants.

It looks a bit like your fox is standing on point.  Try flattening the feet a little and flattening out the cuffs a bit.  When you fold your pants up they don't bulge like that usually.
