Yeah, kinda wanted to be a siggy... The animation is choppy, and you can barely see it, but the light does stay constant, so it does reflect on the sword.

edit showing the light without the movement (it reverses, then loops)

I was only wondering if the light looks right to any of you, something looks wrong to me.

Also, I was planning to just submit the sword itself minus the animation, but theres something about 100 by 100 max, and I didn't wanna submit it, cause.. I dunno :P.

And I tried to make the text look inscribed in.

Oh man, I just keep typin :P Some dithering practice, something I've never done before. And does anyone else remember the paint programs that dithered for you? to make whole new colours :) wow, the memories.

It looks pretty nice the animated sword looks like if theres a chandelier swinging next to it to give it that lighting effect.  If thats what you were going for then yeah it look right.

On the top one, I would keep your light source steady.  Right now, it looks like your light source moves with the sword and that looks wierd.  Have the sword come in with no highlights initially, then as the sword reaches the middle of your canvas, have the highlights appear at the tip of the sword, then stay at the position in the canvas as the sword continues through.

I do keep the source steady, its far away, though, so the change is not noticeable because of the animation. The second, the "swinging chandalier" one, is showing how the lighting changes during the motion. So the second one is the same, but without the movement. And I added the reverse of the animation, so it doesn't jump :P
