Pixel Joint Forum: The Guardian WIP

   For challenge at an art forum I go to - there is a list of characters and creatures for people to work on. "The Zoo of Fantastical Creatures resides in the small island kingdom of Vaelica. Once part of a larger, technically-advanced world; Vaelica became isolated by a strange persistent storm that somehow separated the kingdom from the rest of civilization. "
I decided I liked the idea of the Guardian
"The Guardian 
This being watches over the Zoo of Fantastical Creatures. It is a gollum composed of enchanted Celtic knots and convoluted circuitry, fruits, nuts, and berries. It is slightly bigger than human sized. "
However the idea I had just hasn't come out right. i'm not sure if I'm going to just stop it at the dirt/clay gollum and just call it practice or try to keep adding more to the on the right. I'm sure there are some anatomy issues, its suppose to resemble human but not necessarily has to look totally human. Any thoughts, ideas, crits, draws (even what I have done right) welcomed. I'm going to see if I can finish it by end of Thursday as I'll be going out of town for a bit

first had a different idea in mind then decided to change it to look more earth gollum like. sorry I didn't save any shading stages, I started in the chest area then worked to arms, legs, then head.

	Nice thus far. :) I like the texture of the shading. But I'd elongate his torso a little. Male figures don't have MUCH hip, but they have some. I'd try to give him a bit.
