Not sure what you mean by your question, though--do you mean you want this to be animated, or that you want it to be more realistic?

There's a forum thread with plenty of tutorial links (it's a long list, but there are some animation ones there) that will help you get started: http://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=706

My personal advice is to start with something smaller and simpler for a first animation, unless you just want the eyes to blink or something like that.  Good luck!
