Hi all, IŽve been doing this test walking animation today for one of my fighters for my latest game, Dark Fighter 2, it will be out in about a year or two lol. Anyway, I need hard critique on this little walking animation, by the way donŽt worry about the uncleaness of it, itŽs just the animation I want criting on as the real sprite will be much bigger :). |

Ok thanks for your input :), IŽll change that, anything else? I mean the animation looks real bad, as in she isnt walking properly, maybe the weight is wrong somewhere. More help please :).

it looks more like a fighting move 2 me, i mean shes like steping
faward and hitting the air... iv never seen anyones walk like that b4.. also she is wearing a short skirt, and at one point u see her nickers i guess this is intentional lol but i think mayb it should be longer then as she walks mayb it flutters up a bit or something |

Yeah youŽre right it does, I just wanted to do something with her arms instead of just having them lay there, any ideas or should I just leave out the moving arms? The short skirt is defently intentional :P, IŽll deal with small things like flutering in the wind till the end, first I need to fix the main animation. Thanks.

In the idle animation, the wind blowing her shirt tail looks a bit odd. I suggest making it longer riff. As for the walking animaiton.. mm.. she looks at bit like she's dragging her leg, but I'm not entriely shure how to fix that. Perhaps look at other walking animations and in each frame draw some sticks where the legs are to get a good idea of positioning?

Hmm, IŽll try that out, thanks :). AS for the walking animation...ok erm I thuink I know why it looks bad, her knee doesnŽt bend enough times, only on one of the steps, IŽll fix that then IŽll check other walking animations and see if they can help. Thanks again. |
