Why is it a lil dude? I say change the colors, and make it more interesting. Pretty good so far though.

I'm not saying it's bad to have a low color count, if anything I prefer them, I just don't see why not other colors, other greens and blues, making it a bit more lively, yah know?

I'm insanely tired and can't remember info so hosting this on imageshack

and too tired to write up anything detailed, just know I tried making this more interesting to look at, threw a gradient in the sky, tried to make the ball look rounder, tried black as a BG color with fancy white outlines "night" version =P note its quite sloppy, trying to give ideas i guess.
