so im in this 72 hour programming compo and here is some stuff i've done...

the concept for the main chair:


a tile test with the char:


I got a bit lazy when it came to the torches and I decided to CG them instead of pixel.  But thats okay cuz im on a timed scheduel here and i dont want to waste too much time making it authentic.

Hehe, the dude looks boss. It'd be cool to see some cracks in the bricks and stuff, looks too neat. Other than that, sexcellent work!

Heh cute. The bricks are a little too soft for my liking.. they look like pillows. A nice sharp highlight at the corner always fixes that.

Hey, he's a guy......everybody's gotta scratch it sometimes.  

Also, very cool sprite. It's simple and the shading is nice.

well the compo is over....our team was doing very well near the begginning, but then everything went wrong during the last 12 hours so things didn't turn out as we had hoped.  Alot of things are buggy, some things aren't working, alot of my graphics weren't used, and all the levels were made within the last hour of the compo (so they're kinda crappy).  but other than that our game turned out pretty good.  We will continue to work on this project and give you guys a better version.

I know - the animations are pretty cummy, but thats only because I had only 72 hours to do 100% of the art as well as help program the game.
