I like the shape, looking forward to seeing it colored.

It doesn't matter how long it took, just how well it was done. Some people create masterpieces in just minutes while others spend months making slightly average stuff. (That last one be me. )

Looks good so far, keep at it.

Don't be silly. What holds you back is YOU.
Any artist worthy of calling himself an artist will see a creation in their mind and then struggle to get it on paper/computer no matter what process you require. Be it time, effort, frustration, suffering, learning, etc.
You must put into your lineart that which you envision artistically or quit art altogether and consider cooking for example.

Advanced for you is anything better than you thought possible for yourself at the time. Then taking that to the next piece until the day you die. To compare yourself with other art is counter-productive. To strive, to give a full effort and to be patient with yourself is highly productive.

Wow yourself with artistic freedom and technique focused pixelart.

EDIT: Notice I did not say before that you should make something like on that thread but merely to be inspired and motivated by it.
