This forum has an automatic zoom function, so there is no need to post pixel art at a zoomed in level.

also being zoomed in it makes it almost impossible for me to comment or critique this peice because i cant see what it looks like at normal size.

change it to normal size and you will probably get more help :)

ok well now i can see it i think its too "hazy, you have the simple structure and lighting down but if you take a look at this screenshot of a mobile game i worked on



you can see looking at the player ship although it is smaller than yours it conveys much more detail, the same is seen in the boss ship.

you may want to consider increasing the contrast of your shadows all the colours seem quite similar.

finally you might want to consider not useing black outlines but thats up too you.
