I pixeled my cell phone. I have kinda hit a stopping point, not sure if I should add a light source and shade from there or not.

yes.. YES...

light sources help to create a sense of verisimilitude (ba ha ha been waiting to use that word) without a light source objects dont look very good... heres an example of an object with no lightsource..

not very interesting is it....


oh and while i was at it i pixeld an invisible man...


but more seriously... pick a lightsource... sort out an interesting pallete and get the basic shadeing down before doing any AA or whatever technique you want....

It looks good!

Is the chassis brushed aluminum? Maybe you could do some effect do give it that brushed feel.

I'm actually not sure, I think it's plastic :P The one thing I don't like is the lighting effect on the inside, I think it looks too much like a gradient. I'm not sure how I could fix that, though.
