Hey folks.
So I was looking through my old stuff and really felt like I needed to try my hand at Brave Fencer Musashi again. That and I just bought Edge Touch for my ipod and had to make something. Working on an ipod touch is freaky at first... but anyway, here's the old vs new: I'm not a huge fan of the colors right now, but picking those on the ipod is still strange. Now that I have it on the computer I'll be going in and editing it soon. And here's the full old piece. Planning on redoing at least a number of them: But yeah, any C&C is awesome And if you never played B.F. Musashi on the PS1, Shaaaaame |

Beautiful! The lineart, if colored or 'sel-out' would make it even better...like 1000% |

awesome! I just did a few characters with edgetouch myself, but it's painfully obvious that they needed post-editing on my pc afterwards. Still, pixeling in the subway, gotta love it.
The sprites are awesome! Edited by neofotistou - 13 August 2011 at 10:14am |

Oh to match such beauty again! @Neo - Thanks, and yeah, pixeling on the go is pretty awesome. some of the best $2 ever. Not that it's helped my output at work... |

Hi Zeratanus
I would like to recommend another pixel editor for ipod. It is called "tiny pixels" I've bought tiny pixels, edge touch, and pixation+ for my iphone, but I have found tiny pixels to overall be the best due to its lightning quick control scheme. The max size for a piece in tiny pixels is 300 x 300, but you might want to check it out |

haha, well I thought you were being a bit sarcastic yourself :P. that piece is old and back then I really didn't know about that kinda stuff and I really dislike the lineart in a few of the pieces especially. Mostly the enemies. I had decided that the lineart was going to be this specific red and in a lot of areas the lineart ended up lighter than the shading around it. Just a bad call on my part.
My newer stuff tends to not have outlines at all though (like in my avatar or the new version of Musashi). Not sure if I'm gonna stick with it on Musashi though, and I'll be redoing the others.. ugh crud i have to run to work. Usually reread my post a few times to make sure I didn't sound confusing or anything, so sorry if it is lol |
