If it will only occupy the empty space slightly, and will not be intrusive to your neighbour, than yes. It it will interact or change the neighbours art than no, unless that person agrees. You can even invite neighbours to a mini-collab, working together on connecting your pieces in an interesting way. |

Here is the final image. I used a bit of overlap to my neighbour and also extended the shoulder a bit into my frame, I hope this is OK. Please let me know of not!

The only thing is that you use the white outline only to separate rows. I edited your entry like this, but you are free to fix it following that rule. You connect to your sides without the white outline.
