so basicly I always liked pixel art ever since I descovered ms paint in a windows 95 Op sistem on my oldie pc, when I was a kid.

I did really simple pixel art, normaly shadeless ones you see, wich I personaly think can be a individual type of pixel art as well as the shaded/volumetric ones.

 

as Paul Gauguin, and later Krischner in Die Bruke movment painted volometric objects or people as one shadeless stain. I belive its a difrent expression of art that souldnt be ignored. even though now a days its all 3d and sh*t!
