I started drawing a feudal Japanese castle based on/inspired by Himeji


I need some crits and suggestions on how to make it less boring, colours are not final and easy to change. The dragon might go onto the roof to crate a bit of diversit.

well, breaking up the monochrome and substituting more naturalistic colors would be a start (like the colors used in the reference). The dragon looks very European.
