Pixel Joint Forum: Sprite Sheet indesicion

Hello, I am rather new to the forum and wondered if you lovely people could give me some feedback on some work I have needed to do for school. 
The problem I have is an indesicion between 2 sets of sprites. (The ones on the left and right of the attached image.)

The ones on the left are more natual and are my original work.

The ones on the right are more metallic and are my less favoured option.

The thing is I need these sprites to look kind of crystaline.

I hope my English is readble, this has been written within a lesson and in a bit of rush!
