Currently looking for a replacement artist to our team after another artist's attitude, work habits and quality overall was not up to standards. If you are good at what you do and would like to participate in the creation of a Flash platform game using Flixel engine as a base for the programming then here are some things you might need to know.

There are 2 programmers. To complete the team we need only one more person of which is a artist. My name is 'Kenny' from the USA working with fellow programmer 'Hiren' from India.

This game could loosely be compared to metroid. The basic storyline is in place the graphics have been scratched seeming the previous artist was not far in progress and really was not participating so it was his own fault we no longer wanted him on the team. We gave him many chances so we are not quick to boot people its nothing like that. We will not use anyone's work that does not participate so thus his work being scratched.

We are looking for someone who can work atleast 3 days a week for up to 3-4 hours each of the 3 days. This person must be self motivated and a good spirit or friendly happy go lucky personality. We're not looking to team up with anyone who is bitter or has the ethics of a teenager. We don't want quitters. This project will probably last for 6 months on this particular game maybe sooner or longer.

50% of the code is already there. The code currently in place is core features and enhancements that can attach to any graphical asset. Just your fundamentals we are ready to start working directly onto custom idea's.

The project is maintained via 'Version Control' and is currently on a private git repository. We track and maintain everything as professionally as we can and make use of new technology that we find benefits the project.

We are programmers we are not interested in moving our project to GameMaker or Stencyl or the such so please if you are interested you must accept the route we have chosen as Flixel is a great library and we are experienced enough to fix anything we run across.

We are experienced programmers this is not something we just started doing yesterday.

The artist may ask any question or participate as much as they like and if they would like daily updates that we regularly send out there is no problem.

Artist must be creative and have the ability to dream up his own scene's and characters from the basic idea's given. We will help out but would like to see the graphic artist do what he does best and design instead of us having most of the say. The artist in our project if he/she shows a sense of taking charge and producing quality work will be given as much responsibility as requested.

We are looking for self motivated committed individuals!! We want someone who will spend the extra time adding details instead of shipping graphics that 'could be better', but at the same time we are not looking for perfection and are not so picky that you should feel nothing will satisfy us we are pretty open and easy going we just don't want a bunch of junk.

Artist will receive equal profit sharing and is more than welcome to use the team as a reference for their portfolio. If your work habits are good and your work itself is good we have no problem in backing you up or telling people how great you are!

Our team's goal is to grow/expand into more people and more development however we will not push this and let the team take its own course.

This current project will include no more than 3 people!
