Hey everybody,

I'm a total newbie to pixelart and the visual arts in general. The reason I'm picking this up is that I want to do my own graphical art for games, not just depend on others for it. I've heard good things about this forum and seen the helpful critiques given by members of this forum; hence, this thread. If it's all right with everybody, I'll post images of my work for others to criticize and offer suggestions about (if I'm breaking a forum rule or something here, please let me know!).

So, without further ado, I present one of my most recent works (it's maybe my 4th character sprite?):



I had a lot of difficulty, as you can probably tell, with the shading on the robe and hair.

Does anybody have any suggestions, critiques, or possible improvements?
