This piece was inspired by the full moon last night as I waited for the bus after work. It uses 7 colors. As you all can probably tell there is still a lot of refining to do. My dithering is a tad amateur so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I can't seem to think of something to fill the void at the bottom, if anything does need to be added. The building that was actually there is rather...ugly.

Worked on the dithering around the moon, added another color, worked on softening the edge of the smallest cloud to the left of the screen and added some trees.

I'm liking the colors. :) Maybe add a few more to transition between the current ones, to make it a bit smoother. It's pretty sharp right now, and the dithering is a bit jarring on the clouds.
The tree look more like it's are being lit from an external source also, was that your intent? Maybe add whatever is giving that light off into the picture, like a lantern or something. Dunno, just a thought. :P

Hmm, good point about the colors. I will experiment and see if I can get a smoother transition between colors. I really should sit and practice gradient dithering for a while on things less complex. As for the lighting on the trees, yea, there was a street lamp in that direction.
